Scott Hanna

Scott Hanna, LUTCF, has been in the Financial Services industry for over 40 years, serving his long-standing clients and friends in investment management, tax-saving strategies, insurance planning, and overall financial advice. He is native to the Cleveland area, and has resided in Willoughby Hills for many years. Mr. Hanna has maintained his Downtown Willoughby office for the bulk of his career.  

Scott uses a thorough and repetitive process with his clients, working to discover their financial goals and objectives, as well as challenges they may face. His professional advice often includes other professionals such as an attorney, an accountant, or both. He believes in a holistic planning approach, reviewing all applicable information presented by the client, and ultimately arriving at a successful strategy to attain their financial goals and “wealth-transfer” aspirations. Mr. Hanna upholds that a “creative vision and approach” can often enter the planning process.  

Scott also owns and operates The Willoughby Agency, an Independent Insurance Agency located in Historic Downtown Willoughby. TWA specializes in Auto, Home & Commercial insurances.  

Mr. Hanna obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Ashland College, and holds licenses in both securities and insurance. He is a 31-year life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, a world-wide professional organization that does not solicit membership and adheres to strict qualification guidelines. He is highly involved in local philanthropic organizations, as well as his local church, and enjoys spending his free time on Lake Erie and visiting Kelleys Island.
